Marty Lee Jones

Marty Lee Jones, 70 of Portland returned to his heavenly tribe on Monday, January 8, 2024 after a short illness.

Marty was born in Norfolk, VA on April 12, 1953. He was the son of John Davis Jones and Lena Elsie Childers Jones.

Marty, whose Cherokee name was "Crazy Horse", was proud of his Cherokee heritage and frequently spoke his native language of Tsalagi. He married the love of his life, Stephanie on February 14th., a very special day to both.

Marty never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved long walks with his beloved fur baby, Angel admiring nature.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Stephanie Jones and fur baby girl, Angel along with many, many other family and friends too numerous to list.

Marty will be greatly missed. His light will never dim from our hearts.
